NWEH wins HeRC contract to provide FARSITE to AHSNs

Back in March 2014 NWEH was successful in its bid to HeRC to supply healthcare data appliances to three AHSN's in the north of England: Greater Manchester, North West Coastal and North East and North Cumbria.

Since then the team have been working with the AHSNs to engage with primary and secondary care teams in those areas to gather requirements and gain clinician and patient buy-in for the projects. In each of the AHSNs we will provide FARSITE to 50 GP practices as well as working with secondary care providers to integrate data. We will also work with clinicians to develop a specification for integration of COCPIT into FARSITE to support clinical audit.

The project will run for two years until mid 2016.
