April 1st 2025
NorthWest EHealth (NWEH) is proud to announce its remarkable achievement of winning three prestigious awards at the 2025 Pharmaceutical Technology Excellence Awards. Recognised in the categories of Innovation, Safety, and Diversity, NWEH has demonstrated its commitment to transforming clinical trial processes through its cutting-edge platforms, ConneXon and FARSITE.
The Pharmaceutical Technology Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding achievements across the pharmaceutical industry, evaluating companies based on a rigorous methodology that includes case study submissions, research, editorial evaluation, and market data.
NWEH won the Innovation award for its ConneXon platform, which revolutionises the reporting of Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) by automating the process. This innovation not only enhances trial efficiency but also significantly reduces manual transcription errors and associated costs, achieving up to 70% savings in reporting expenses. By integrating real-time data from electronic health records, ConneXon allows research teams to focus on high-value tasks, ultimately accelerating study timelines.
NWEH's dedication to participant safety was recognised with the Safety award, highlighting ConneXon's real-time monitoring capabilities. This feature ensures swift interventions during adverse events, thereby enhancing participant safety and improving the integrity of safety data. By minimising human error and facilitating faster responses, ConneXon sets a new standard for safety practices in clinical trials.
Finally, the Diversity award acknowledges the FARSITE platform's inclusive recruitment strategies, which promote socio-economic representation in clinical trials. By integrating Deprivation Scores, FARSITE ensures diverse participation, aligning with regulatory guidelines and enhancing the generalisability of study results. NWEH's commitment to equity and inclusivity in clinical research is further strengthened through targeted recruitment strategies that engage underrepresented communities.
“These awards highlight our dedication to bring market leading enhancements to our ConneXon and FARSITE Platforms. They are a testament to our continued impact, and the hard work and dedication from our team over the last year. Their commitment to transforming health data into meaningful insights that drive better patient outcomes, improve research efficiency, and promote diversity in clinical trials, is second to none. As we look to the future, we will continue to push the boundaries of data-driven healthcare innovation.”
